Neuzer Bike Party - 10.10.2009 in Targu Mures, Romania.

Party-ul Neuzer din Targu Mures este un meeting de ciclisti de toate categoriile, si toate varstele, au fost diferite etape ale acestui concurs, trasee de 10km, 25km si 30 de km, nivelul de inaltime variind intre 400 si 1231. La aproximativ ora 10:00am sa dat startul de la Platoul Cornesti pentru etapele de ciclism de distanta, apoi asteptand sa inceapa competitia de DownHill pe o pista scurta de cca. 1m 43sec(cei profesionisti), dar destul de provocatoare.  In acest an a fost una plina de adrenalina, peripetii si distractie, chiar daca aceste lucruri au insemnat pentru unii durere si regret in urma accidentelor intamplate. A fost o problema de organizare, cand sa dat startul la  cei de 10km atunci in urma cu cateva minute sa dat startul si celor de 50 de km iar o fata sa oprit la o mica trambulina, era incepatoare, iar cei mai experimentati au venit in viteza si nu au mai putut-o evita, si ca sa no loveasca au iesit de pe traseu, iar un tip si-a rupt cca 3 coaste de i-au intrat in plamani, era in stare foarte grava. Dar competitia a continuat cu multa multa adrenalina si frica as putea spune. Un competitor tanar de 11 ani pe nume Zalan a fost starul zilei cu sariturile lui gratioase si periculoase, parintii lui erau tot timpul pe partea publicului incurajandu-si fiul cu aplauze si strigate de glorie. Zalan a facut un timp de 2 min. 12 sec. pt varsta lui este ceva uimitor, zbura pe pista ca si cum era purtat de vant, era o adevarata placere de a-l urmarii.

It was a very intense competition that was held in the the heart of a local woods, we had some really nice race tracks with high difficulties, and by this we had a lot if injuries, the most severe one was when the amateurs were given head start like 10 minutes and after them the pro’s, they’ve managed to catch-up with the amateurs and one guy stopped in front of a bump and the other came by speed and had to avoid the other competitor and he took a tree frontally with his rips, he had 3 rips broken that were pushing into his lungs, he almost died of internal bleeding. Otherwise the special downhill track was a really provocative one, the pro’s have done it by 1 min. 43 sec. while the not so pros in 2 min. 34 sec.

This photo was made on a jump trail, it was the second round of the competition, these guys weren’t signed into the main downhill course.

I used here the 17-40L 4, 70-200 L 4, 50 1.4 with off camera flash.
