Though what really grabs me is that this tree is all by itself in the middle of this field. It looks like it might be a nice place to sit and think… watch the world go by… listen to a rainstorm, or bask in the shade of a tree on a sunny summer day.

The simplicity of this piece is what really attracts me to it. It’s the greatest meanings I often find in simple things. In the case of this piece, the lonely, wind-ravaged tree presents the picture of a sad, harsh existence. It’s really quite poignant. Colors are perfect, I must say. I like how there are a variety of shades but they all still fall into the spectrum of green. Very earthy and appropriate. Fantastic job. :D
